One of the major issues people face when planning an interior is choosing the right color that can make the interior worthwhile, and of one misses the point of choosing the right color, other accessories placed in the interior can never be uniquely identified. The fact is, you don't to be a pro or an expert to select colors accurately. Therefore, the following are the guidelines needed when choosing the right color for your interior to make it aesthetically stunning:
RULES OF INTERIOR COLOR
1. MOOD IDENTIFICATION AND SELECTION
Before choosing a color for your Interior, don't just conisder what you want to see, consider how you want to feel whenever you want to view. Mood should be consider first before any selection is made because color has the ability of controlling how you feel whenever you are around a particular space. Defining your mood right makes you select a perfect color that suits your interior needs as well as yours.
If you are a kind of person that loves an atmospheric or cool environment, you might want to go for a very reserved color such as grey, white and black, an off white wouldn't be a bad idea either. But if your choice is a sunset idea (a flashy and bright environment) you might want to do colors like orange, reds, yellows. Just make sure your mood is right with your selection of colors.

2. THE 60-30-10 RULES OF COLOR
If you want to be an expert in your selection of colors, you will need to master the 60-30-10 rules of color which depicts the right way you need to use your color.
The rule states that 60% of the room should be a dominant color, it must be used on the biggest canvasses which is obviously the walls. The biggest part of your interior must have this dominant color to make your Interior stand uniquely.
30% should be the secondary color or texture which is the next smallest part of your design plan. It can be applied on your accent wall (Accent wall is a part of your wall that it's design is different from the other walls in your room by using a complete different shade of color) because the role of a secondary color is to assist or support the main color. It can also be selected color for your furniture and rugs.
10% of your color should be an accent or accessory color. These are your throw pillows, artworks, fabrics and other printed items in the room. You can easily achieve this rule by using the color wheel (a color wheel is an abstract illustrative organization of color hues around a circle which shows the relationship between primary, secondary and tertiary colors).
If you follow these rules rightly, you will be able to achieve your desired and accurate interior color which will make your space one of its kind.
