In setting an interior, so many people though they could handle it on their own and in the process, they have made many simple mistakes that has rendered their interior odd and invalid. The following the the mistakes you should avoid while planning and arranging a interiorM
1. MAKING THE WRONG SELECTION OF COLOR
One of the major mistakes people make when it comes to setting an interior is the usage of color palette. Many people always want to develop the idea of using mixed colors for their interior which obviously would have appeared cozy and warm if properly mixed. But it is very common that in an attempt of people trying to be different in their mixing of colors, the result becomes terrible.
In your usage of colors, always consider the following:-
i. Ensure the mixing of colors are not 100% harsh and bright. Make sure the combinations of your colors are shades of bright and harsh that complement each other.
ii. When mixing different colors, don't do it with your walls. The most ideal wall color mixing is using two complementary colors in a particular space. Using more than two colors for your wall in a particular room has a high tendency of riot. You can do that with your furniture and other accessories you purchase. Also, whenever you are mixing a color, don't make it a color competition where all the color used would occupy the same space size. Instead, choose a dominant color and an accent color.
iii. Consider your furniture before choosing a wall painting. Do selection of furniture and color palette you want to use before deciding on your walls.
iv. Go with color that best define your mood and not what is trendy.

2. MIXING OF BOLD PLAIN AND PATTERNS
Another major mistake people make which is highly common in most home is the wrong mixing of bold plain and pattern. Many people would use a patterned chair, patterned curtains, patterned rug and almost everything in the home are patterned. Mixing too much of pattern accessories in an interior makes it look unattractive.
As much as mixing only pattern accessories is bad, so is using only bold and plain accessories. Using only a plain accessories will make not make the space uniformly agree. It is always ideal to mix it with patterned accessories such as rug, throw pillows, curtains or single upholsteries.
3. WRONG SCALING
Another mistake is wrong interior scaling. Scaling in interior design is how object relate with the size of your room. Many people don't understand scaling in interior settings. For example, arranging bulky furniture in a small space, using a dwarf furniture for a giant room, fixing curtains at the edge of the window of a giant room, using small frames in a large space or using large frames in a small space.
Understand your space if it's small or large before deciding on the accessories you would plan and arrange.
